Lochaill, Brora, Dornoch, Sutherland and the Coast

This very special part of the Scottish Highlands is a paradise for fishermen, golfers, cyclists, walkers, whisky lovers, castle and ancient monument tours.  It is a perfect spot for discovering and exploring the beautiful North Highlands – where your hosts can advise you and help you plan trips, and the best way to spend those valuable holidays.

See the Local area page for suggestions across the area.  From Lochaill self catering you are only an hour away from the North Coast and day trips to the rugged West Coast are also easy.

The Gallery page shows images around the area and inside and around accommodation including some great photos of the fields and some of the local wildlife (and some not so wild).

Go to Links to click on for information about the local attractions there is also a special section for you fishermen called fishing links  and for golfers golf links with links to all the main local courses from Royal Dornoch (now in World top 10) to the Local James Braid Links course in Brora plus a couple of the other prestigeous courses that are close by, including Castle Stewart.
